Veena's FHM photo shoot

Now this is what happens when there's beauty without brains! And apparently, the idea of having an ISI tattoo on the arm was intended to be playful! The FHM (For Him Magazine) editor was quoted by the BBC as saying:

"In India we joke about this... if anything goes wrong... we say the ISI must be behind this."

I mean, one could only expect a bimbo to go out and take such a step publicly, and that too, added with all the right ingredients for a juicy controversy - a nude photo, with an extremely controversial tattoo on the arm (not funny by any count), on a men's magazine, and in a country Pakistan has been at odds with ever since its independence.

And one can only imagine the amount of hype this has created in local and international media! I was so surprised to see BBC - one broadcaster I've always valued tremendously being a newspaper analyst - feature the item as a top one in their Asia sub-section:

Their piece was, obviously, not just about whether Veena was right or wrong, but also about the outrage created in the Pakistani media about it. But that's what the media does, right? Feed on gossipy stuff that's already doing the rounds of the market -  the 'gossipy stuff' in this case being Veena Malik, who's doing all she can to feed news channels and magazines with a sizzling story at an almost regular pace!

If the girl is too-desperate-to-think kind of crazy about gaining publicity, she needs to mature in her efforts at least! Well yea, we all know many models and actresses both locally and internationally who used such, for the lack of a better word, 'cheap' tactics to gain an initial foot in the door, but then they evolve. And Veena has had her foot in the door, alright.

But hey woman, have you run out of better ideas to become famous this soon??

P.S. Btw, I just tsumbled upon Veena's own webpage:

and none of the sub categories on this seem to be opening. Apparently, she's gonna star in some 3D movie! Whoa whoa whoa! Hope somebody has told her she should be doing more on the acting front as well besides a multi-dimensional display ;)
